Abril Barajas is a mexican american artist and ceramicist originally from Los Angeles, now making work in Brooklyn New York. She is a Graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Printmaking and a Minor in Ceramics.
Her work focuses on community building performance, ritualistic healing, magic making, the religious experience, cartoons, wonder, the impossible magic of pure love, and a fruitless reach towards sincerity.
